I remember the last time I went to the refugee camp for the cooking project. It was during cold winter, raining and the camp was located somewhere unpaved roads betul2 atas tanah the car was soaked with dirty mud. We arrived Irbid at night and decided to wash the car because it was completely dirty even our shoes pun completely brown. Looking at the state of the car, the ammu asked "Where are you guys from, why is everything so dirty" Told him it was from the refugee camp. Upon hearing, he offered the car wash service for free. I was touched because tk layan pun ammu tu sembang but tk sangka dia wants to be part of it and yknow what he said, "You did what you can for the refugees, and so I did what I can for them"
There is always, always something we can do for someone. Be it al fatihah or qunut nazilah, be it one rnggit note for a pack of tissue, there is always something we can do. We dont have to be bloody rich to start giving.
